Discover how public art is transforming Highwood into a vibrant, walkable arts destination. Join curators Chris “Koz” Kozloff (artist, filmmaker, and founder of Silvertuna Studios) and Laura “Lulu” Reich (art advisor, curator, and founder of Collect With Lulu) for a guided mural tour celebrating our city’s growing collection of street art. ​This experience offers a rare, behind-the-scenes look at the vision behind Highwood’s beautification project, featuring world-renowned graffiti legends and contemporary muralists who’ve helped turn our city into an open-air gallery.Meet the couple who sparked a movement rooted in community, creativity, and connection, and hear the stories behind the murals and the artists who brought them to life.​

MORE THAN PAINT
Last summer we premiered "More Than Paint" at Wayfarer Theaters celebrating the city beautification by 12 world-renowned artists brought to suburban Illinois to paint monumental murals in partnership with Celebrate Highwood, the city, and curators Laura “Lulu” Reich & CJ Kozloff.

The documentary by Silvertuna Studios captured the historical debut of the Highwood International Mural Festival, where artists revitalized a city into a vibrant art destination.

Featured artists: Al Diaz, Chris RWK, Eelco van den Berg, Asend, Wane COD, StukOne, Zimad, E.LEE, Anna Murphy, Epic Uno, Rubén Aguirre, and Dont Fret.


Hosted by Celebrate Highwood, curated by Collect With Lulu and Silvertuna Studios, the Highwood International Mural Festival kicked off a groundbreaking public arts initiative teaming up the City and artists Chris RWK, Ruben Aguirre, Al Diaz, Asend, Anna Murphy, Dont Fret, Eelco van den Berg, E Lee, Epic Uno, Stuk One, Wane, and Zimad transforming the cityscape, hearts, and minds of a community.
